Job Location: Smithfield, VA
Core Responsibilities:
- Assists in the development and identification of SAP system needs supporting Supply and Demand Planning and Business Management teams.
- Works closely with Order to Cash, Logistics, Finance and other business analysts on cross-functional enhancements and projects
- Be the business team’s liaison and voice with IT regarding implementations, system enhancements and upgrades.
- Develop detailed business requirements specifications to outline and define requested enhancements and/or changes to systems. These business requirements will serve as the basis for technical
- Utilizes project management skills to ensure work streams are properly identified and prioritized, resources are allocated and fully utilized and timelines and budgets are met.
- Reviews current Planning and Materials Management business processes to determine where automation / improvements will drive efficiency.
- Identify opportunities and support the development of new sustainable best practice approaches while providing subject matter expertise in the Materials Management functional areas.

- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a regionally accredited four-year college or university and 2+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Experience in SAP ECC 6.0 Materials Management in either a business analyst role or higher preferred
- Solid understanding of Supply Chain planning processes and principles preferred
- Functional knowledge of EDI, IDOCS, SAP Customer and Material Master data preferred
- Above average expertise with Microsoft Office Suite required
- Must demonstrate the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
- Must be able to travel 20% of the time, dependent on various projects
- Ability to work well with others in fast-paced, dynamic environment.
