Job Location: Chennai
Responsibilities
- SAS tool development of UI’s , Macros and process automation using latest digital stack.
- Develop code using Software Craftmanship best practices such as Test driven development, continuous integration, continuous delivery and Clean coding principles.
- Ability to listen, think, analyze user requirements and implement quick solutions.
- Coordinates in testing, deployment and production activities of the team to ensure production stability
- Involvement in design reviews and code reviews.
- Implement quick POC’s using latest tech stack.
- Work independently with project managers/business users on Project and Enhancements.
- Exposure to Agile methodology and Technical documentation
- Detail oriented and diligent in delivery – strong balance of technical and soft skills
- Should have exposure to communicate and work with business clients on a frequent basis
- Ability to think and contribute towards process and innovation
- Ability to create training documents and take initiatives to train peers
- Ability to work and contribute as a Team player
- Ability to work as part of a team to deliver in tight timeframes and respond quickly in an ever-changing environment
Profile required
- 3+ years of experience and hands on experience in SAS tool development
- Hands on experience of usage of SAS Base, Advanced concepts
- Hands-on experience with at least 4 years in one of the SAS technologies module – SAS Visual Analytics (VA) or DI ( Data Integration Studio) or MC( Management Console)
- Hands on experience of writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Atleast 1 or 2 years of experience of UNIX shell Scripting, Autosys schedulers
- Professional attitude: Self-motivated, fast learner, team player, independent, ability to handle multiple tasks and functional topic simultaneous
