We are seeking for an experienced business analyst to join its sales operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting market and point of sale analyses, continuously highlight and improve business and sales needs, provide insights to the team to help improve the sales process, and launch initiatives for business intelligence systems. He or she will work closely with sales management to help make critical decisions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Enhance SolarEdge’s capability to analyze and make sense of large sets of data and translate findings in a visually appealing manner that provides insight and drives decision making
- Research and analyze data sets including external publicly available data, extract relevant metrics and indicators from such data sets to identify patterns and measure impact
- Partner with executive sales leaders to define, set up, and operationalize key processes including sales forecasting, sales reporting, analytics, and operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define key performance indicators, set targets, measure and monitor performance, and provide customer and sales analysis insights and recommendations
- Generate sales trends, variance analysis, pricing, revenue performance metrics, product performance and other sales-related reports.
- Design and manage the processes to support accurate and timely sales forecasting. Collect and analyze data to evaluate performance to quarterly and annual sales goals, quotas, forecasts, and provide explanations for variances to forecasts.
- Proactively communicate accurate, timely, and actionable analytics, with the focus on improving sales productivity while providing insight into sales trends by Sales Region and/or business unit
- Perform quantitative analysis, define and introduce new metrics, build dashboards and reports, work with sales team to convert ambiguous raw data into tangible actionable results to influence business decisions
- Proactively identify opportunities for sales process improvement. Make recommendations related to processes, workflows, and system requirements that affect SolarEdge business, and work with IS team by owning implementation
- Review and analyze market trends to develop price models that provide insight to the impact of price changes, growth rates and profitability
- Coordinate with VP of Sales to develop, implement and execute annual commission plans; ensure sales territory alignments are accurately maintained and properly approved and documented
- Work closely with sales and NPI team to determine and propose prices for review by executive team, ensuring that prices conform with SolarEdge’s pricing strategy
- Responsible for developing forecasts and pricing models to assist with setting and modifying prices, including margin forecasting based on SolarEdge’s revenue and market share goals
- Assist in determining rebate pricing for Solaredge’s SPA program
- Administer Special Price Agreement program including, but not limited to, providing support to sales team on related tasks, reviewing documentation and tracking contract status, updating data in the CRM, and overseeing the completion and compliance of the program.
- Conduct training sessions for the sales team to improve efficiency and educate on new processes.
- Assist revenues team with collating data for monthly rebate forecasting purposes and provide support with end-of-month / end-of-quarter activities.
- Assist in rebate gap analysis, perform rebate credit reconciliation when misalignment occurs, and perform proactive rebate credit audit to ensure the correct values are being used by distributors
- Act as main point of contact for distributors and the sales team for any SPA related inquiries and requests
- Ensure SPA documentation used by the Sales team are properly maintained to reflect current products and pricing; perform periodic database maintenance tasks
- Assist with various ad hoc analysis and reporting for SolarEdge’s sales incentive and rebate program
- Ad-hoc projects as assigned
Requirements:
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in business analysis, business administration, finance or related field
- 2-5 years of experience in business analysis, data analytics and visualization, business intelligence, operations, pricing analysis, sales operations, or growth support functions
- Excellent communication with the ability to be clear and concise when summarizing big picture takeaways and defending analyses
- Organized and self-directed with flexibility to work across project types and prioritize efforts that will have the greatest impact for SolarEdge
- In-depth understanding of sales processes and systems (sales cycles, forecast generation, account, territory, opportunity, pipeline management, etc.)
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, productivity, and time management
- Proactive, creative, work well under pressure, and use good judgment to accomplish tasks on schedule with minimal direction and supervision
- Ability to manage multiple priorities as well as assess and adjust quickly to changes in priorities
- Strong problem solving, written and oral communication skills
- Analytical, evaluative and data-driven mindset
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite is required
- Experience with Corporate ERP, BI, QlikView systems are a plus
- BI or Data Analysis certification desirable
- Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
- Must have strong work ethics
FAIR PAY & A JUST WORKPLACE
At SolarEdge, we are committed to fair, transparent pay and we strive to provide competitive, market-informed compensation. The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $120K-$145K. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
