About the Team
About the Position
The Business Analyst (BA) will focus on customer’s business processes and requirements and incorporate those processes and requirements in design document. In addition, they will develop and maintain a strong and positive business relationship with Product Management to clearly understand the customers’ business, as well as their short and long-term business objectives.
Role and Responsibilities
Gather, document, and analyze detailed business requirements based on users and business needs
Create and define functional business requirements, design documents, business scenarios, and test scenarios that meet the high-level requirements as defined by the customer and/or product management
Work with customers, SMEs and/or product managers to gather requirements, prioritize functionality, and communicate with customers regarding their business needs
Act as a resource for development, quality assurance, documentation, and support for product questions and issues
Act as a liaison between the customer and development to ensure that any code developed solves the business need and is well explained and documented
Follow design standards/procedures, and coordinate the business analyst design tasks for the project
Create test details and test scenarios for development and quality assurance to validate the intended implementation of business requirements
Work with development and quality assurance to recommend additional testing to be implemented into test scripts
Attend design review meetings, ensure that functionality for design projects matches the design objectives, and provide feedback for all products
Provide high-level estimates upon request for new development projects
Act as a knowledge resource for the product
Organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks/assignments/projects simultaneously
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills
Participate in industry events and stay current on upcoming trends in the market
Perform other duties as assigned

About You
BS/BA in related discipline or equivalent experience
Motivated self-starter with an eagerness to learn
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
1-2 or more years of progressive experience within business analytics or related field
Has good experience following Agile methodology
Ability to apply comprehensive knowledge of the industry to the completion of complex assignments
Experience with requirements gathering and analysis
Ability to listen to customers or business experts, analyze their requirements and supply solutions
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Knowledge of leasing
Use Case modeling experience is helpful
Experience with JIRA
