Senior IT Business Analyst cum Project Lead – REMOTE, Nassau, Bahamas
Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior IT Business Analyst cum Project to join our remote team. As a
Senior IT Business Analyst / Project Lead, your role is to over-see the business process
analysis and execute the collection, elicitation, and recording of business requirements for
more and better strategic project developments. You should be a strong team player and
excellent communicator in English (Spoken & Written). If you are also passionate about
Information Technology with prior experience in the Banking / Technology industry, we would like to remotely meet with you. Experience Supporting Securities Booking, Payments or Client Onboarding is preferred
Duties and Responsibilities:
โข Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements;
forming project team and resource allocation; establishing project budget.
โข Manage requirements analysis and related communication with the development team and
the QA team
โข Lead the planning and implementation of projects
โข Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan and
identifying areas for modification and improvement
โข Manage defect tracking system and resolve all issues and prepare update for systems using
appropriate tools
โข Process as is and to be mapping
โข Analyze the Project Change Requests, Impact Analysis involved in a combination of Business
Analyst activities such as requirement gathering, Preparing SOW, Business Requirement
Document (BRD), Functional Requirement Document (FRD) and preparing flowcharts
โข Preparing Wireframes Prototypes
โข Preparing Business Process models: MS Visio | Power Point etc.
โข Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
โข Oversee entire project life-cycle; ensuring deliverables are satisfied
โข Provide direction and support to project team. Constantly monitor and report on progress of
the project to all stakeholders.
โข Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.
โข Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
โข Gather competitive intelligence and new product/service ideas from the field, and share
market insights with the team.
โข Translating project needs to applications and operations and acting as an interface between
business units, developers teams, QA and executives
โข Functionality Training/knowledge transfer sessions to the other team members.
โข Defect resolution and query handling from key business units, QA, and development team.
โข Handle the client Weekly updates and Deliver the project with demo presentation to the
relevant stakeholders
Requirements and Qualifications:
โข Attention to detail
โข Experience Supporting Securities Booking, Payments or Client Onboarding is preferred
โข Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies
โข Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written with a strong command of the English
language
โข Ability to develop and nurture relationships for better output
โข Ability to create opportunities by not only offering a gamut of related services but ensuring
flawless deliveries.
โข Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary
โข Ability to write and create effective documentation
โข Ability to control and manage multiple projects at the same time.
โข Plan and strategize for new opportunities to enhance the bottom line in an ever
increasing Competitive Environment.
โข Should have hands on experience on MS Projects, MS Visio, MS Excel, MS
Access and MS PowerPoint
โข BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or equivalent with
programming experience
โข Minimum 8+ years of experience working in mid to senior role providing similar support to
banking industry
