Job Description:

The Senior Manager Analytics is responsible for forecasting and coordinating the technology and facilities needs for airports and multiple departments, including Networking Planning, Flight Operations, People, and Facilities. This role also serves as a liaison between technology groups. The Senior Manager Analytics is an innovative thinker who looks forward to building partnerships with other Southwest Employees.

Job Summary
Serve a role in leading the Technology-based business solutions for the Corporate Facilities Department. Responsible for aligning the growth needs of multiple internal departments in our stations throughout the Company including Ground Operations, Cargo, Provisioning, Flight Ops, Inflight, Maintenance, Marketing, etc. Responsible for analyzing and incorporating new technologies and new processes into our department. Also, responsible for managing others in the Department as well as take on other roles of responsibility as assigned by a Facilities Director. Administer performance appraisals and scope of job work for direct reports. Serve as a Team Leader on designated projects, supervising and directing the contributions of others. Additionally, serve as an individual contributor on other projects.

Responsibilities
Acquire an understanding of Corporate Facilities technical tool set
Manage travel requirements
Manage Operational and Project Budgets
Aggregate data from multiple sources to support the long-term planning of the Enterprise Facilities Mastering Planning efforts
Analyze operational performance, business process, Customer insights, and future needs to clarify key challenges, diagnose the root cause, and recognize performance improvement
Assist with data analysis, visualization and implementing processes to improve productivity and accuracy of reporting
Focus on the optimization of the Facilities technology toolset
Lead efforts with data analysis, reports, and implementing processes to improve productivity and accuracy of reporting
Partner with Team members and Internal Customers to provide reliable data that will allow our Customers to make informed decisions
Research Applications and keep abreast of best practices
Use analytics tools including SQL, Alteryx, Tableau, Python, R, to gather and understand large data sets
Use data to synthesize action plans and can clearly communicate interpretation of data to others
May perform other job duties as directed by Employees Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, stenography and transcription, designing forms, and other office procedures and terminology
Knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming
Skilled in understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
Ability to monitor/assess performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
Education
Required: High School Diploma or GED
Experience
Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
Fully functioning, broad knowledge in process implementation

Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation/desk/office area for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job

Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
