Job Description:
Job Summary

Helps maintain, support, and advance Ground Operations in its responsibility to deliver a safe, reliable, low cost product to our Customers via assisting the development and evaluation of internal and external Customer insights, concise problem definition, innovative solution derivation, and a comprehensive understanding of data models and analysis.

Responsibilities

May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders.

Responsible for supporting cross-departmental projects/initiatives via communication of the case for change, meeting coordination, preparation and organization of meeting materials, minutes preparation and distribution, timeline documentation, etc..

Assists Leadership and Employees in resolving questions, discrepancies, or procedural problems within established timeframes.

Help articulate the future state through the definition of individual, group, and/or process performance.

Compiles special reports or studies where analysis of sometimes complicated or technical data is required; identifies sources and extracts necessary information for reporting.

Assist with the identification of areas to improve operational performance and business process through an understanding of Customer insights, future needs, and root cause.

Develops and maintains an understanding of internal and external Customer needs.

Habitually serve as a change advocate by demonstrating behaviors that support new direction and new tool/process integration.

Must demonstrate a positive attitude and encourage Employees to think beyond current work processes to innovate.

Responsible for assisting with the execution of existing methodologies to evaluate company processes, support planning decisions, engage stakeholders, and deliver on project goals and requirements.

Assist with the development and validation of business cases and project charters, project governance review, performance management definition, and appropriate project/assignment documentation.

Prepares and coordinates detailed special and recurring reporting for operational initiatives.

Recognizes and escalates project/initiative risks.

Assists in eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process analysis, and task and workflow analysis.

Maintains and archives historical records by documenting changes and revisions to materials such as project files, presentations, spreadsheets, etc.

Assists with process and application testing, including test design and real time data collection for the purpose of evaluating current and future state company applications, processes, and procedures

Identify data collection tools, data sources, benchmarks, and performance targets

Identify and document business process

Prepares references for users by writing operating instructions.

Develop an understanding of Ground Operations and its relationship with other departments.

Research other companies/industries to compare and measure performance guidelines and use of current tools and methodologies

Support the execution of planned change management tasks.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office products – Word, PowerPoint, and Excel proficiency required

Demonstrates ability to deliver high quality results when contributing as an individual or member of a Team, including when under tight time constraints and/or while dealing with competing priorities.

Self-motivated with the ability to assist with business insights analysis, process diagnostics, and recommendation development.

Must be able to work within regulatory constraints with an open mind and Team player mentality.

Comfortable and articulate delivering formal communication, written, verbal, and presentation, to various levels of the organization including Customers, subject matter experts, and Leaders..

Able to visualize, articulate, and condense complex initiatives, problems, concepts, etc., into concise, easily understood updates and/or presentations.

Ability to organize and balance multiple concurrent initiatives/assignments while maintaining a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and timely delivery.

Can utilize Excel to perform basic data analysis, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.

Ability to understand, document, and define project requirements, business insights, and proposed solutions.

Ability to gather and analyze data by understanding a data model, structuring queries to access data and reporting results to answer business questions

Effectively follows Leadership direction

Education

Required – High School Diploma or GED –

Required – Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience

Experience

Required – 2 Years – analytical experience

Required – 4 Years – work experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree

Preferred – 2 Years – Altea/Amadeus experience

Preferred – 2 Years – project management methodology experience

Licensing/Certification

N/A

Physical Abilities

Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting 10lbs, standing, sitting, pulling, pushing, squatting, walking, kneeling, reaching, and writing.

Other Qualifications

Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.

Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.

Must be able to travel (moderate travel as requested by Leadership)
