Job Location: Birmingham, AL
Southern Veterinary Partners (SVP) is seeking an analytically minded individual, with an entrepreneurial spirit, eager to collaborate with all departments to strategically grow our hospitals as we continue to rapidly add to our existing network. The individual’s analyses, recommendations, and ability to execute collaboratively will directly impact the growth of dozens of hospitals under their guidance.
Responsibilities
- Use industry leading analytics platforms, including Power BI, Host Analytics, Auto ML, etc., to manage, review, and uncover valuable insights from the financial and analytical results of 50+ hospitals to quantify opportunities and help strategize individualized growth plans for each hospital
- Regularly collaborate with individual hospitals, field leadership and various Home Office departments, from Finance and Operations to Marketing and Procurement to execute on strategic plans
- Serve as lead analyst and analytical point-of-contact for multiple Regional Operations Directors at SVP
- Leverage breadth of access and information to uncover existing growth drivers and how to implement those processes across many or all hospitals
- Continually build efficiencies and predictive analytics to create industry-leading execution time from opportunity discovery to operational response
- Detect pricing opportunities, especially as it relates to pricing elasticity across various categories
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field
- 3+ years of similar work experience, preferably in retail, healthcare or other multi-location industry preferred
- Self-starter with strong analytical skills including the ability to interpret data, question the results, generate insights and construct solutions
- Excellent project management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail to handle multiple priorities and hospital plans concurrently
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on manipulating large data sets in Excel
- Outstanding presentation, reporting and communication skills
Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000
