The Team:
As a part of team, you will deliver and maintain accurate, complete, and timely data sets while taking into account the business units’ global interests and needs internally & externally. Fundamentals Data is part of the Data/Content Management Group. The team is involved in various processes, carrying out tasks involving data collection, standardizing, database maintenance, correction of the data, and publishing.
The Impact:
This role has a core impact to our business as you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our data. This role serves as the backbone of our data team catering to a number of different products, and you will contribute to finding, investigating, resolving and reporting data issues.
As a Data Analyst, you will support the integrity and comprehensiveness of the data set by utilizing internal & external public research sources such as government & regulatory documents, stock exchanges, industry journals, analyst reports as well as information databases and our internal research tools to collect, summarize, and synthesize relevant information. Hence you will gain exposure to different reports of covered Industries, while having frequent interaction with global team to learn the industry dynamics and create a symbiotic work culture.

Role Responsibilities:
Extract, standardize, validate, and publish financial data from publicly available sources using In- house tools and applications.
Doing groundwork in gathering comprehensive business requirements to ensure there is least discovery of unknows during execution stage.
Responsible for arriving at solutions to queries received around collection methodologies and client tasks.
Converting raw complex data into easy to understand and comprehendible information through data visualization.
Providing input and ideas for new collection methods and product enhancements
Reviewing feedback involving fundamentals content to help correct errors and establish or refine procedures and processes to improve accuracy
Deliver on predefined individual and team targets including delivering outcomes with quality and excellence.
Keeping up to date on industry trends and reporting standards
What We’re Looking For:
MBA in Finance, M. Com or any degree with finance background and good academic record.
Knowledge of financial statements and understanding of annual reports
Comfortable taking initiative and demonstrating resourcefulness
Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work
Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
Strong quantitative, analytical, and interpretive skills
Ability to conduct efficient thematic online research
Knowledge of any database or automation tools would be an added advantage.
Willing to work in 24*5 environment on rotational shifts
