This position is for the analyst that has always kept a list of ideas he or she would like to investigate once their assigned work is complete. Our work is that “list of ideas”. We’re building a team of strategic analysts to learn the business, the systems, and the processes who will then go uncover opportunities for a better future using data, research, and relationships. The last bit is as important as the first – we need people who are talented with data transformation, analysis, visualization, and storytelling but who are also capable of working diplomatically and collaboratively with others to gain the access or information they need. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Capture, develop, and document data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements
Integrate data from multiple sources to conduct complex analysis in to identify operational impacts while informing and developing new strategies to improve business performance
Utilize knowledge of mathematical modeling and other optimization methods to perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis
Use a targeted blend of mediums to provide the most impactful analytic presentation to the appropriately targeted audience
Ensure accuracy among ad hoc and routine deliverables by performing or automating quality data audits and analysis
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in the business then craft analytic projects in pursuit of finding actions to address those opportunities
Consider, plan for, and implement experiments to prove out the resulting value of your recommendations in coordination with implementing parties in the business
Perform other duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Background
- 5+ years in analytics as an individual contributor
- 3+ years of project work as the primary analyst
- 2+ years of analytics for telecom or call center stakeholders
- 1+ year of consistent presentation to managerial stakeholders
Skills
Advanced Skills
- Excel: 5+ years
- PowerPoint: 5+ years
- SQL: 4+ years
- Data Visualization: 2+ years (Tableau, Power BI, or similar)
Intermediate Skills
- Python: 2+ years (numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, etc.)
Preferred Skills
- A/B Testing, Experimentation Design: 1+ years
- Machine Learning: 1+ years (gradient boosting, random forests, classifications)
- Natural Language Processing: 1+ years (text embeddings, machine translation)

Education
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
3+ Years – Consulting and/or Business Analysis experience
