Manager / Senior Manager /AGM Operations

  • 12+ years of Operations experience in the service industries (KPO / BPO)
  • Should have managed 24 /7 operations
  • Excellent communication and articulation skills written and verbal
  • Should be from Data labelling/annotation background
  • Should have managed variety of Data labelling projects
  • Detailed understanding of the data labelling ecosystem, value chain.
  • Understanding of machine learning concepts
  • A minimum of 3 to 5years in managerial role managing data labelling projects.
  • Graduate or post graduate candidate, computer science background will be an added advantage
  • Tech Savvy
  • People management, Problem solving, Reporting, Presentation, Conflict management skills a must
  • Knowledge and experience on internet research, data services projects
  • Go-getter attitude
  • Ability to work on time bound projects and meet deliverables while maintaining positive attitude and providing excellent people care and customer service.
  • Ability to work well with internal and external customers independently
  • Location: Chennai / flexible working model/ remote management/open to discussion

Responsibilities

  • Handle end to end operations efficiently and effectively
  • Consistently meet SLAs across various processes
  • Ensure profitability of the process through cost optimization and accurate forecasting
  • Identify long term issues, problems, or opportunities &derive solutions along with the business head.
  • Work with business head to help the account grow through Account Mining
  • Track the functions overall performance and its impact on the financial goals
  • Understand and manage the P&L for the process
  • Manage daily performance to ensure that all members, Team Leads and AMs are providing excellent Customer Service to all customers (internal and external).
  • Should be able to manage multiple functions with large teams through effective people management and development approach.
  • Act as a domain expert for Operations Department & Drive Results
  • Ability to manage crisis effectively by keeping focus on key information and decision points.
  • Uphold Organization Purpose and Principles
  • Proactively communicate and connect with the stakeholders on process updates, risks, challenges & highlights
  • Understand the business priorities and act upon them.
  • Customer relationship –
  • Coordinating with the customer on process related issues & updates
  • Build and Manage successful Client Relationships
  • Liaison with Client representatives to manage partner perception and day to day operational requirements

People

  • Optimal utilization of resources to meet productivity goals
  • Administer policies and procedures consistent with sound judgment and an element of fairness.
  • Ability to work well with cross-functional Teams to ensure that both internal and external customer needs are met
  • Ensure employees have a clear understanding of Clientโ€™s business goals and performance expectations
  • Provide leadership while coaching the teams to improve skills and ability
  • Conduct team reviews, prepare and present reports of the process to the Business Head
  • Conduct appraisals
  • Build and develop highly motivated team
  • Mentor and coach team members with potential for growth/development
  • Provides continuous feedback in the areas of recognition and corrective action
  • Identify potential candidates for succession planning and create development path for them
  • Build team cohesiveness through staff meetings, team goal setting and brainstorming

Quality Management

  • Ensure all the process deliveries meet quality KPIโ€™s (internal & external) implemented in the organization and get them audited at regular intervals
  • Provide monthly reports on the performance of the process.
  • Contribute to the development of data labeling platform/solutions development
  • Liaise with technology as needed to address key features, workflows for platform/solution building
  • Act as a business analyst to make any software development and related communication seamless
  • Be proactive in communication
  • Ability to document ideas, thoughts and articulate the requirements seamlessly with the tech teams
