Job Detail:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Junior Data Analyst to join our distribution team. The ideal candidate will handle purchase orders, manage noncompliance penalties, assist with senior management reporting, and maintain our ERP system. This entry-level role is perfect for someone with experience in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and a strong analytical mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
Process Purchase Orders:
- Handle purchase orders from B2B trading partners via Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing orders.
Manage Noncompliance Penalties:
- Track and manage noncompliance penalties (chargebacks) received across eCommerce platforms.
- Analyze chargeback data to identify patterns and provide insights for reducing penalties.
Senior Management Reporting:
- Assist in the creation and presentation of reports for senior management.
- Compile data from various sources to generate comprehensive and actionable reports.
ERP System Management:
- Create and maintain items within our current ERP systems.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the ERP system.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI).
- Understanding and processing knowledge of document codes such as 850, 855, 753, 754, 856, 810, etc.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Advanced Excel Skills: Must be proficient in VLOOKUP, data consolidation, pivot tables, and logical formulas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an eCommerce or distribution environment.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $43,245.35 – $50,000.00 per year
