Job Location: Mumbai

Presently, we are hiring for the Analyst- Transaction Advisory Services position. In this role, you will work closely with the Senior level management, and Managers, enhancing your skill set while servicing clients on complex engagements and fulfilling a key team member role.

Responsibilities:

Practice Area Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Develop complex valuation models and dynamic financial projection models requiring a high degree of attention to detail
  • Building a Databook” using trial balance data to then show monthly balance sheets and income statements.
  • Proof-of-Cash: reconciling revenue reported on the income statement to cash receipts on bank statements.
  • Ability to search large data sets (e.g. General Ledger Detail) to identify specific entries or activity in a certain Trial Balance account.
  • Performing financial-statement, industry, and other quantitative and qualitative assessments,
  • Provide high-quality services and work products that exceed client expectations for quality and timeliness
  • Maintain active communication with clients and engagement team to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction

Qualifications/Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • CPA/ CFA/ CA/ MBA-Finance with an Engineering background.
  • Over 5 years of experience in business valuation
  • Minimum 3 years of business and intangible asset valuation experience.
  • Employment of various valuation methodologies such as discounted cash flow, guideline public company/ transaction, excess earnings, relief from royalty, with/without, comparative sales and replacement cost methods, capital asset pricing model, etc.
  • Development of financial models to value common stock, business entities, and intangible assets
  • Conducting in-depth client, economic, industry, and competitor research and statistical/ ratio analysis
  • Extensive experience working with complex valuation and projection models
  • Preparation/ review of valuation reports, exhibits, letters, and other client deliverables
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong team building, interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Motivated individual who takes ownership of assigned tasks and responsibilities
  • Demonstrated organization, project management and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required
  • CFA/CPA or other relevant certifications highly desired (or progress toward such certifications)
  • Must be able to maintain professional demeanor in times of high stress.
