Role Responsibilities
- Ensure data credibility and correctness of insights derived from BI process via testing.
- Evaluate the staging data, ETL process, and BI reports for accuracy and adherence to business requirements.
- Testing of dashboard / report based on the business requirements / design specification.
- Validate / create test cases and scripts prepared for the initiative.
- Capture defects in JIRA for effective reporting mechanism.
- Responsible for coordinating with Dev team to get the issues fixed.
- Responsible for gathering UAT Nomination, and providing UAT briefing session communications for GPS / Country SPOCs (if needed).
- Responsible for engaging GPS / Country SPOCs for UAT execution and signoff.
- Responsible for driving UVT successfully along with business users.
Our Ideal Candidate
- Mandatory 6 – 10 years of experience as a BI Tester and familiar with testing processes involving analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Microstrategy.
- Experience with Testing and defect tracking tools such as JIRA.
- Experience in creating test plan, test scripts and test strategy.
- Strong in stakeholder management and communications with various teams such as BA”s and other project team members.
- Understanding of Analytics service models and technology platforms.
- Advanced MS Office Suite Skills including SharePoint.
- Agile methodology and practice.
- Jira, Confluence, Trello.
