Overview

As part of the Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living (DAIL) Adult Services Division, the Quality Management Unit provides oversight of Vermont’s home and community based long-term care Medicaid programs. This ASD Data Analyst position will support the quality team as well as the whole division with complex data collection, analysis and reporting, using data from multiple sources and programs, to inform improvements to policy and practice within our programs and support positive outcomes for the Vermonters we serve. Work is performed under the general supervision of the Quality Assurance Director and can generally be done remotely with some in-person meetings required. Environmental Factors
Work is performed in a standard office setting, but travel may occasionally be required for which private means of transportation should be available.
Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in public health, health care administration, health care profession, public administration, business administration or related field with academic work in statistics AND one (1) year or more at a professional level in statistical or policy analysis, business or public administration, services where the duties included analytical work and statistics.
OR
Bachelor’s degree in public health, health care administration, health care profession, health and human services, business administration or related field with academic work in statistics AND two (2) years or more at a professional level in statistical or policy analysis, business or public administration, services where the duties included analytical work and statistics.
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced proficiency in data analytics using statistical packages and database management applications with complex data sets
