DSHS ESA Management Analyst 4
We have an exciting career opportunity as a temporary Management Analyst 4 within the Economic Services Administration (ESA), Alternative Solutions Program. This employee is a member of a collaborative virtual team, with office assignment to be based out of one of these locations: Everett, Olympia, Vancouver, Spokane, Seattle, or Yakima.
The Management Analyst job is focused on developing, deploying, and maintaining key pieces of the Alternative Solutions Program. You will be responsible for determining methods of analysis and overseeing the collection, analysis, and reporting of data for the statewide virtual team. You will design and maintain both public and internal resource sites, as well as assure the design and usability of required team tools are used to support the team program mission.
Some of what you will do:
- Determine the method of analysis for multi-disciplinary projects and provide grant oversight with regard to data collection and reporting
- Gather and analyze specific data provided or entered by EMAPS, DSHS/RDA/GIS, or other DSHS/ESA staff through interfaces with related systems
- Prepare regular performance reporting for Alternative Solutions/DCS, including cumulative and rolling average reports
- Act as primary role for the program by planning, implementing, collaborating, and managing internal Strategic Planning activities
- Lead and manage projects of various sizes and capacities at a local or statewide level
- Design, develop, and implement databases used by DCS and stakeholders to conduct reviews of grants the Alternative Solutions Program participates in
- Train staff on how to enter the data into the system and how to extract the information using the reports developed
- Utilize specialized technical skills to create, deploy, and maintain tools and resources employed by Alternative Solutions and various grant projects
- Act as primary liaison to DSHS/RDA/GIS for design consultation; responsible for the ongoing update and maintenance of the DSHS Community Resource Directory in its public form
- Gather data for program budget and full-time employee allotment/usage reports, factoring monetary costs
- Write performance reports, analyze data, and create presentations to management and business partners regarding internal program data
- Serve as the main point of contact for internal data needs, providing consistently accurate, reliable, and professional guidance related to the information assessed
- Plan, schedule and participate in regular meetings to initiate and maintain community partnerships, developing and improving Child Support partnerships, referral processes, and related services
Who should apply:
- Bachelor’s degree* in business administration, public administration, law, public health, health administration, or a related field, and 4 years of experience conducting research and analyzing policies, laws, rules or regulations or comparable combination of graduate education and experience
Or, Master’s degree in business administration, public administration, law, public health, health administration, or a related field, and 2 years of experience conducting research and analyzing policies, laws, rules or regulations or comparable combination of graduate education and experience- Advanced competency in SharePoint, forms designs and business machine utilization is desired
- Knowledge of Title IV-D child support work processes and procedures, including federal and state laws, federals and state regulations, and child support program policies and procedures
- Strong analytical skills and systematic thinking
- Experience with conducting research, providing analysis, and developing reports
- Ability to present and facilitate to inclusive audiences
- Knowledge of project management principles
- Expert in multitasking and committed to keeping deadlines
- Qualifying experience may substitute year-for-year for education.
