Job Description
Who we are looking for
- Expected to spend 100% of the time on hands-on development, design and architecture
- Capital Markets Projects experience preferred
- Work shift timings : 11 AM IST to 8 PM IST / 12 PM IST to 9 PM IST
- Extensive working knowledge and expertise on Oracle database design, development. Should be willing to work complex large database schemas and look for improvements.
- Should be good knowledge on Bigdata frameworks written in Scala
- Should have worked on cloud migration project. Preferably AWS.
- Work closely with business and IT teams to clarify and refine functional requirement specifications.
- Exposure to NoSQL database is highly desirable
- Help in identifying long-term, strategic data needs for the enterprise, defining how the data is related to the business processes and developing a conceptual and functional model of the data
- Develop a strong understanding of Investment Banking Data.
- Assist in evaluating new technologies for future state of Data Warehouse.
What you will be responsible for
As Cloud java Developer you will
- Hands on design and development. Spend 80% of time on own tasks as part of Sprint deliverables.
- 4+ years of industry experience in Bigdata development experience
- Work experience on enterprise application is a must.
- Extensive experience on Data modelling, Design, development and performance tunings is MUST.
- Exposure to AWS, cloud migration is most desirable
- Financial domain knowledge is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Handson working experience on SCALA

- Clear case, SVN, GIT, JUnit, JTest, Jenkins, Cucumber, Hudson, Clover, MQ , PHP.

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Preferable to computer science degree
- 5+ years of experience in development in global teams
- Good at design and implementation
Additional requirements
- Experienced, fully competent in own area
- Shares own expertise with others; will co-ordinate activities of others/the team
- Completes own role independently or with minimal supervision/guidance
- Strong written & verbal communication skills. Experience writing, reviewing technology documents including user guides.
