Job Description: Alpha Data Services, Client Market Data Tariff Analyst

State Street Alpha Data Service (ADS) is the data-as-a-service provider that is the back bone of the Alpha front to back strategy. Combining both technology and service provision to deliver significant data management value to our clients. We’re looking for a candidate to join our Data Support team as a Client Market Data Tariff Analyst.

What you will be responsible for
As part of the ADS Data Support Team we are looking for the someone who can:
- Create a robust market data invoice validation software engine using inputs from internal and external sources.
- With support from the ADS Market Data Manager, translate vendor commercial pricing models into a resilient reconciliation and analytical tool
- Collaborate with internal technical and business teams to produce periodic and ad-hoc reporting on cost summary statistics, short and medium term trends and longer term forecasts
- Continuously monitor and improve the accuracy of the engine
These skills will help you succeed in this role:
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills across all channels and levels of recipients including team members and colleagues
- Demonstrate excellent motivational skills and lead by example in all areas.
- Support a culture of commitment, team work and productivity alongside diversity and work life balance.
- Knowledge of Data Management and Data Governance
- This role would suit a recent graduate with experience in creating analytical software using large data sets
- Exposure to financial market data would be of some benefit
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- University degree in the field of Computer Science, Software Engineering or Data Science
