Who we are looking for
The GTS Office of the Chief Operating Office (COO) is seeking a Data Analyst to work with a global team to provide data analytics dashboards. The candidate should have 9 – 10 years experience, have a deep understanding of metrics-driven reporting practices and is able to articulate a clear story to a wide range of audiences using complex data and information. They will also have the unique benefit of having overview and insight into the whole spectrum of employee skills and training within GTS at State Street. The data analyst will be working with the GTS Workforce Transformation team from the India Global Hub.
What you will be responsible for
As Data Analyst you will
- Develop and maintain reporting and metrics for GTS leadership to provide visibility into hiring and training.
- Partner with leaders throughout GTS and HR to deliver accurate data and insights in a controlled way adhering to all data governance and data privacy guidelines.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy of metrics and reporting
- Communicate metrics across various levels of the organization; provide decision support regarding trends, recommendations, and necessary actions

- Prior experience designing and delivering metrics, reports, and dashboards that provide actionable insights for diverse audiences with data visualization tools such as Microsoft Power BI
- Data analytics,data visualization, and automation experience
- Prior experience in the hiring and training functions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with Design Thinking and Agile
- Ability to multi-task and deliver under short time lines
- Strong attention to detail
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or related field
- > 9 years experience
- Advanced knowledge of MS Power BI Desktop and Power BI Pro
- Coding experience in SQL, Python or other programming lanaguages
