Summary
The Support Analyst II will work as a member of a newly formed team within Operations. The Support Analyst II will provide technical solutions to Operations teams by seeking to understand business needs and developing technical solutions to fulfill the requirements. The Operations Support Analyst II will collaborate with both Business Analysts and Leadership to drive technical solutions forward in order to improve operational efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop an understanding of the data, applications, processes and procedures utilized by Operations
- Develop and aid in the implementation of solutions which optimize processes
- Provide ongoing support for created solutions
- Effectively complete various validation testing to ensure that technical solutions are working as expected
- Demonstrate clear communication and effective collaboration when providing input on technical business solutions
- Demonstrate clear communication and effective collaboration when providing input on business solutions
- Align to the framework established by leadership for advancing projects and initiatives
Qualifications
- Strong problem solving skills with the ability to take a problem and research it from beginning to end creating detailed documentation while visualizing potential solutions
- Clear understanding of business processes, issues, and technology related to the operation of departments within an organization.
- Experience with implementing and supporting technical solutions created within various applications
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail to minimize risk to the firm
- Ability to think strategically about the most efficient and effective way to solve complex issues
Education and/or Experience
- Associateโs Degree or equivalent college coursework or 3+ yearsโ Stifel experience
- 3+ yearsโ of analytical experience within specific Operations department, 1+ years of investment, financial, or technical experience preferred
Systems and Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook including Excel (VBA), Word, Access, PowerPoint, SQL
