Position Overview:
Our Client is looking for a Data Analyst to join the Sustainability & Outreach team. Our team is focused on quantifying and visualizing the outcomes of on-farm management practices to drive customer adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices and support our enterprise sustainability commitments. In this role you will be accountable for working with a broad set of global stakeholders internally to drive data collection and model processing to support corporate sustainability outcomes and reporting.

What You Will Do:
* Explore, learn, and practice state-of-art agricultural greenhouse gas (GHG) footprint quantification methodologies.
* Coordinate data collection, data validation, and execute crop production GHG footprint calculation (through 3rd party API) to facilitate company carbon commitment and reporting.
* Interpret & visualize crop production GHG footprint, and deliver insight to global stakeholders to drive adoption of climate-smart agricultural practices.
* Help to build internal infrastructural tools/pipelines to automate quantification of crop production GHG footprint.
* Write beautiful, robust, well-documented code.
Basic Qualifications:
* MS OR BS (+2 years of experience) in Computer Science, Statistics, or related fields
* Fluency in Python (required) and SQL (preferred)
* Knowledge of API architecture (REST). On-hand experience of API service (request) and data crawling (butterfly)
* Proven experience with python visualization libraries (Matplotlib, seaborn, plotly, etc..)
* Detail-oriented, and good sense of data quality.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work with diverse cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge in farming, ecology, agronomy, or remote sensing
* Experience in dashboard building (Dash, Flask)
* Knowledge in python package building (conda, PyPi)
* Experience with good coding practices such as version control, code documentation, automated testing, and code review
* Proficiency in programming computational algorithms for big and complex data sets (Spark)
* Familiarity with multiple regression techniques, multivariate analysis, mixed models
* Business communication proficiency in Spanish
