This is a Data Analyst position and requires someone who has Healthcare applications and related healthcare data formats.
We are seeking an experience Senior Data Analyst with Healthcare industry (TPL/COB) experience to become part of a highly skilled and motivated enterprise engineering team focused on delivering highly scalable and available technology solutions across the Payment Integrity R&D organization. The primary focus of the data analyst is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems related to onboard new clients. A typical data analyst is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.
Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications. Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes. Write/code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions. Work as part of a project team to coordinate database development and determine project scope and limitations. Review project requests describing database user needs to estimate time and cost required to accomplish project.

Our technology stack is running on the legacy platform is C#, .NET, SQL. Our technology stack consists of Windows servers, 3rd party and public cloud (AWS). We adhere to Scrum Agile methodologies as a company from the top down.
Desired Skills And Experience
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate Data Analyst who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal Data Analyst would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:
” Position requires a minimum of 8 years of related healthcare industry experience with a Bachelor s degree; Master s degree is a plus
” Position requires knowledge & experience working with TPL (Third Party Liability) and COB (Coordination of Benefits / Cost Avoidance) processes with a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in Prospective & Retrospective workflows
” Position requires a minimum of 3-5 years of related experience working on healthcare applications and related healthcare data formats (member, HCFA, UB, Pharmacy claim records, group, provider data types)
” Strong analysis skills, thinks outside the box, can work well on their own, capable of defining requirements and designing new functionality.
” Strong understanding of Agile methodologies
” Strong communication and organizational skills
” Opportunity to fundamentally alter the landscape of the healthcare industry
” Previous experience working on healthcare platforms; working with the various types of healthcare data record types is a plus (member, provider, HCFA, UB, RX, 835/837, 270/271 record formats).
” Analyzes internal/external data files to determine if the (client) files contain the needed data elements for ingestion & processing on various application within the Payment Integrity TPL/COB organization
” Identify missing elements that TPL needs, ask questions regarding the data values in required data elements, and understand how to map the client data into the TPL applications along with determining the needs data transformation to be able to use the client data with our systems
” Ensure successful translation & transfer of data, including but not limited to combining and reconciling data from one format to another and between storage types or computer systems.
” Assess legacy and target environments to determine requirements and plan data conversion/migration processes in accordance with time and budget guidelines.
” Working with internal business subject matter experts, external client contact and internal software engineers on understanding the data
” Execute data extraction programs and analyze converted data for accuracy
