JOB Designation: Business Analyst
JOB Location: Hyderabad / Pune & Gurgaon, India.
Mode of Hiring: Full Time Employee (FTE)
Experience: 8 – 20 years
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Define product roadmap, prioritizing and planning the feature based on the need of the business.
- Develop partnerships and work closely with business team members to understand and document day in the life and usability requirements through storyboards, wireframes, user interface specifications and other documentation. Work with a cross-functional team in planning a product release
- Proactively maintain a backlog (epic/features/user stories) that reflects the priority of work and has enough ready items for development. Backlog grooming and refinement once in 2 weeks. considers scope vs. cost vs. schedule decisions.
- Work closely with US partner to gather, analyze business requirement, use case, customer problem and gain a deep understanding of the product requirements.
- Act as a point of contact for India offshore team for all product related queries.
- Translate product roadmap features into well-defined product requirements including features, user stories and acceptance test criteria.
- Own the final authority on priority of work, business value, and product functionality.
- Collaborate daily with the delivery team and resolve product questions expeditiously.
- Create integration context diagrams and associated systems process models to aid in clarity.
- Work efficiently in Agile environment, regularly reviews the completed work items of the sprint and check with the business to ensure it meets business expectation.
- Track product features, performance metrics to ensure that the product is meeting or exceeding the targets, pivot the product roadmap direction as needed.
Required Skills:
- Bachelors degree in engineering or equivalent degree (BE/BTech/MCA/MTech) with 7+ years of industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience as business analyst
- Must be able to demonstrate data driven decision making and prioritization of product and strategic decision making.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication (spoken and written) and presentation skills.
- Prior experience in Jira, creating user stories, defining and managing backlog items in JIRA is preferred.
- Deep understanding and experience with Agile Methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
