Job Location: Hyderabad/Secunderabad
- Support the development of a business plan of Data Quality Analysis, Strategy and Implementation, that will allow robust model development activities within Credit.
- Coordinate and support (internal external) data quality, storage, data issues and resolutions, as well as data systems enhancements.
- Conduct a comprehensive testing of data attributes through independent research of data issues, logic, evidence and conduct or coordinate user acceptance tests (UAT) aimed at validating development of specific modeling attributes.
- Analyze data or new requirements for modeling or data migration and efforts to consolidate data from centralized warehouses.
- Attend and discuss routine or ad-hoc data stewards meetings. Document any change/update/creation in RDG data fields.
- Coordinate solutions and fixes data attributes through change management, service requests, testing and liaising with Data Governance team.
- Produce and distribute automated periodic status reports and scorecards.
- Define and maintain data quality rules for all models. Review and address data quality issues.
- Maintain, enhance and update data dictionaries for all credit loss forecasting and reserve models. Create new data dictionary for new models as needed.
- Assist in the onboarding of new data sources into risk aggregation data platform (RDG), analyze differences in data, suggest logic mapping changes to standardize and cleanse onboarding data sources, design and execute user acceptance tests for new data.
- Independently research, identify and prototype industry best practices for emerging analytical tools
- Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned from time to time
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Finance or other quantitative discipline with Minimum 5+ years experience in IT position, Risk, Finance, Consumer Lending or in lieu of a degree, Minimum 7+ years experience in IT position, Risk, Finance, Consumer Lending
- Minimum 5 + years experience in Data Governance technologies, process risk management, building process control solutions, or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 + years in coding with Python, PySpark, SAS, SQL or other equivalent language
- Ability to create visualizations of data and/or quantitative information for management decisioning using Tableau or equivalent tool
- Strong project management experience and time management skills
- Strong written/oral communication skills
- Shift Timings: 2 PM to 11 PM IST
Desired Characteristics:
- Credit card modeling/data science/analytics experience
- Deep knowledge of financial markets, data management / governance, and quality assurance practices
- Strong familiarity with business rules management and/or statistical methods for governing data quality
- Strong data reporting and visualization experience with the ability to tell a story and propose solutions
