Job Summary:
The RWE Data Analyst I is responsible for executing a variety of statistical analyses of large observational databases, including electronic medical record and claims database, as well as the development of RWE dashboards , producing high-quality RWE research, and contributing towards raising awareness of RWE across the organization.
Job responsibilities
- Conducts analyses for a wide variety of data resources utilizing appropriate statistical software (e.g. SAS, R, Python, and SQL)
- Contribute to the development of study protocols and analysis plans for global, regional, and/or national healthcare, electronic medical record, and claims database studies
- Maintains familiarity with real-world evidence research trends, state of the art analysis methodologies, and related regulatory guidelines
- Responsible for delivery of project outputs that are within budget and timelines, meet quality standards, and satisfies customer expectations
- Drive consistency and compliance with company standards of the project documentation for observational studies and interactive data visualization tools, including programming, specifications of analysis datasets, tables, figures, and listings.
- Support, contribute, and enhance standardization techniques to increase efficiency in deliverables.
- Contributes to the development of materials for congress presentations and manuscripts within RWLP
- Provides analytic support of business development activities within RWLP
- Works collaboratively within RWLP to promote RWE across the organization
What we’re looking for
- Requires a graduate degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Economics, Epidemiology, Public Health, or comparable (Bachelor’s degree plus at least 5 years of experience; Master’s degree plus at least 3 years of experience or Doctorate with at least 1 year of experience as programmer or healthcare data analyst in the pharma industry, contract research organization, or healthcare consulting industry).
- Requires in-depth knowledge of and experience with a variety of secondary data resources such as claims databases, EMR, registries, hospital data, electronic medical record data, lab data, genomic data, wearable data, or patient-reported outcomes ;
- Requires extensive knowledge of statistical programming language(s) (e.g., SAS, R, Python, and SQL);
- 3+ years of programming experience and proven technical abilities with data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Experience in setting up standardized programming scripts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, both written and verbal.
- Strong personal communication and team-oriented skills.
- Above average attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
- Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously to meet deadlines
