The Wholesale Team is responsible for world-class business development, management, and operational services to enable rapid innovation and growth for T-Mobileโs Wholesale business, which consists of Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO), Internet of Things (IoT), and Machine to Machine (M2M) segments. Wholesale is a quick-moving, entrepreneurial, and rapidly growing part of T-Mobileโs overall business.
The Sr Manager will lead our business intelligence team of highly skilled, driven and intelligent analytics and reporting
analysts, with direct accountability for providing financial, regulatory and operation reporting solutions. A successful candidate will have: deep understand of database management, ability to create data visualization, and perform thorough business analysis.
This role will lead the team to deliver automated reporting solution that can provide leadership insights into business and operations performance metrics ensuring the team has a handle on what is going on in the business. In addition the team will perform post-mortem analysis to gain key insights and drive actionable change. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, strong understanding of all TMUS enterprise database structure and design, strong data visualization skills, and an analytical mind to solve problems. This is a unique opportunity to play a defining role in a line of business that has strong delivery to the bottom line helping the New T-Mobile achieve their financial goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead postmortems for major wholesale initiatives; analyzing financial, customer and partner
- impacts and recommend strategic re-alignment where necessary
- Monitor and interpret regular report results to identify business opportunities, leading indicator of risks and
- Advise leadership team those risks and opportunities
- Frame new reporting solution, including key metrics to be reflected in the most consumable layout and
- Coach the team to develop and QA
- Lead and develop an analytic team that delivers timely and high-quality analyses that inform insights and
- Recommend actions to drive program scale, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Also responsible for other Duties/Projects as assigned by business management as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree – MIS, Engineering, Statistics or related field
- Masters Degree – MBA โ Finance, Economics (preferred)

4-7 years – Experience in financial and operating analysis and reporting. -
4-7 years – Managing a team of finance or analytics professionals. -
4-7 years – SQL or database management -
Telecommunication experience preferred.
