We are looking for an Engineer to work in the GM front office development team as part of the front office digitalization and automation project. The team responsibility is to provide the Equity derivatives Front Office trading team with a development and production environment under the IT supervision.
Responsibilities:
The main responsibilities of the position will be to:
- Enhance and maintain the framework
- Fully onboard the users onto the CI/CD
- Create trading rapid applications
- Assist the trading floor in the creation of tools and applications
As a lead programmer, the candidate should:
- Make high-level design choices
- Dictate technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
- Ensure cybersecurity rules are implemented
- Understand the interactions and dependencies among components
- Recognize potential reuse in the organization or in the application
As a developer the candidate should make sure the applications benefit from the most innovative technologies.
Minimum Required Qualifications
- BA (or equivalent) required in IT and Finance. Advanced degree considered a plus
- Python / Java coding language mastered (3 years of experience)
- JavaScript and Web Design
- Minimum of 3 years of financial industry experience as a FO developer
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good knowledge of pricing (derivatives products) and exotics products.
- Good knowledge of current most advanced web technologies
