We are seeking an organised and self-motivated Data Analyst to lead the analytics team to shape the development of India’s largest omnichannel player.
Area Of Responsibilities :
– Lead data analytics team – set team-wide priorities, establish common ways of working and ensure effective collaboration & communication between all team members. The mission of the team is to enable business teams to make fast, data driven decisions every day.
– Translate business problems into unambiguous analytic problem statements and design analytical frameworks to address them.
– Develop a strong understanding of business requirements; working with business users business analysts to define technical and process requirements and build solution
– Derive insights from data analytics and provide actionable recommendations to improve and streamline business processes
– Own high impact data analytics projects and provide recommendations to business
– Enable report preparation using different BI Tools used for analysis and visualizing data. (Tableau,Power BI, etc)
– Drive organisation wide initiatives to improve data literacy and our data capabilities through introducing innovative new technology and improving our current processes.
– Work with cross-functional team and various departments and the senior management
– Leverage your experience to manage and mentor more junior analysts on analytics best practices and to help them reach their personal development goals.
Requirements :
– Bachelor Master degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science or equivalent experience
– 3-6 years of experience in Analytics.
– Excellent data analysis skills (investigation, modeling, mapping & gap analysis)
– Knowledge of TableauPower BI and other business intelligence and analytical tools
– Expert in Python R SAS
– Experience with cloud computing infrastructure, such as AWS Azure GCP
– Able to develop, test, and deploy models on cloud web
– Knowledge of ETL tools is a plus
– Experience in handling large datasets
– Expert data modeling skills
– Strong knowledge of fundamentals, including: funnel analytics, customer segmentation, user activity modelling, churn analytics and AB testing.
– Strong problem-solving capabilities- able to conceptualize, organize, simplify
– Ability to work on multiple projects and prioritize the work
– Ability to own projects end-to-end: building out timelines, key milestones, provide regular updates to stakeholders and delivery against agreed upon specs
– Ability to adapt in the dynamic and fast paced environment
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– Basic understanding of the Insurance sector is preferred
