Job Location: Hyderabad/Secunderabad
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead pricing assurance initiatives to ensure execution of right prices in all systems, validate changes,
research failure points, provide status reports . - Comprehend the business requirements and queries from multiple stakeholders on pricing analysis
and execution and lead the response in a clear and effective manner. - Work collaboratively with the multiple teams e.g. IT, data governance, merchandise, finance etc.in a
global environment to prioritize the pricing agenda - Provide variance analysis and business driver analysis to support decision-making. This includes
effectively communicating and translating the results into business insights. - Conceptualize and develop analytical solutions and optimal business processes to achieve operations
excellence. - Manage the pricing actions about clearance markdown using analytics solutions and develop seamless
process to optimize clearance discounts and improve sale thru. - Deliver business objectives through assigned projects while maintaining time, scope, quality, and
budget. - Provide objective and holistic view of the impact of pricing actions on the category financials. Identify
and interpret short & long-term trends that weave into the pricing actions. - Develop a good understanding of the existing data and technology landscape to execute various pricing
actions in quick time.
Requirements:
- Deep expertise in managing pricing functions, preferably 8-10 years of proven experience, in any
B2C/B2B global organizations. - Relevant experience in pricing with Graduate or Masters in Management/Mathematics/Computer
Science/Finance with good academic record and aptitude. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to stitch together the insights from disparate data sources both
internal and external - Experience operating in test and learn environment, including developing and measuring KPIs,
articulating insights, making recommendations, etc. - Strong strategic / innovative thinker
- Ability to problem solve complex scenarios; operate in a complex, rapidly changing environment while
adhering to tight schedules and budgets - Demonstrated ability to balance multiple projects in varying degrees of implementation
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels and cultivate
relationships with key stakeholders across functions to achieve business objectives and drive strategic
change; - Proven track record of establishing strong relationships with the field sales and operations and
experience in leading complex cross-functional teams - Excellent communication and collaborative skills with the ability to work in cross functional multicultural global teams.
- Excellent data analytical skills and ability to formulate the problem from various business scenarios
- Should be a result oriented problem solver who can collaborate across teams and functions to find
solutions to any technical or functional problems. - Experience/knowledge of Retail/Auto/Finance/Auto industry will be added advantage.
- Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Access) is a MUST, as well as an ability to learn company systems
and tools as needed. Knowledge/experience of using pricing tools will be an added advantage. - Exposure to cloud technologies (e.g. Azure/AWS), visualization tools (e.g. PowerBI), Automation using
VBA will be desirable.
