Job Location: Cambridge, MA
A biotechnology company in Massachusetts is looking to add a new Business Analyst (G&A Oracle) to their team in Cambridge.
Responsibilities:
The Business Analyst (G&A Oracle) will:
- Partner with the Business and Technology Delivery teams to ensure business processes are understood, documented, and fit the needs of the organization.
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts and Technical teams in the planning, design, and development of new information system solutions
- Oversee implementation projects from beginning to completion
- Manage and monitor project progress – elicit requirements, system/port design, user/functional/technical requirements documentation, test plan/scenario creation, final defect tracking
- Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge
- Work directly with business users to understand the business requirements
- Provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and/or business processes to meet user requirements
- Develop high-level project scope, deliverables, and milestones
- Manage and monitor enhancement requests for business applications by coordinating with business stakeholders, vendors, and technical resources
- Communicate, build strong relationships with, and work closely with business users and internal IT to resolve system, data related and/or workflow issues
- Improve training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Information Systems
- Experience is SDLC and Change Control process
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies.
- Experience leveraging cloud solutions to accelerate business value driven projects.
- Prior experience with one or more enterprise applications like Oracle Fusion Cloud, Salesforce and Contact Management System
- Strong change management skills
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
Desired Skills:
- 1+ year of Pharmaceutical experience
- Experience in working with SOX auditors and knowledge of CFR part 11
