An investment firm in New York City is actively seeking a driven and dynamic professional to join their staff as their new Legal Operations Data Analyst. In this role, the Legal Operations Data Analyst will assist with legal and compliance infrastructure projects, including data gathering, data input, maintenance, monitoring, and reporting.
Responsibilities
The Legal Operations Data Analyst will:
- Reconcile information and legal documents in various formats and consolidate into digestible processes and systems in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- Work cross functionally with internal teams, legal, tax, compliance, and others to gather data, inputs, feedback
- Organize data and build relationships to achieve efficiencies across legal initiatives
- Complete other tasks as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-5 years of experience working for an alternative asset manager, bank, or similar institution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications with intermediate Excel skills
- Operational background with a demonstrated ability to work with data and systems
- Previous experience with data collection and organizing
- Experience in reconciling data sets and assisting with system integrations
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Problem-solving skills
