In our continued transformation from a real estate company to a customer experience company, we are seeking a Manager, Data Warehouse, Reporting & Analytics who will be responsible for ownership of the technology platforms that support Enterprise Level reporting, and business teams performing data analytics. This position will report directly to the Senior Director of Application Delivery with geographic flexibility to work remotely offered by Tanger’s hub-and-spoke approach to a modern Teams-driven workplace.
About the Role:
As the Manager of Data Warehouse, Reporting & Analytics, you will contribute to the direction of the technology platforms which enable advanced analytics and self-service for business users.
You will work closely with Leadership, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), IT and other internal/external technical teams to design and build reports that provide critical business information to our leadership team and be actively involved in leading data governance efforts for the enterprise.

How you will contribute to what we do:
- Support the delivery of technology assets in the Data Warehouse and Reporting space. This will include PowerBI, SQL Server, Paginated Reports, Azure Data Factory and other tools
- Work closely on the prioritization of feature delivery
- Own technical architecture decisions with regards to platform delivery and data integrations to the warehouse
- Support business power users as they perform data analytics and self-service report development
- Collaborate on the design of a report certification, testing, and release process
- Manage internal and external development teams as required for project delivery
- Support testing efforts for new capabilities and reports
- Drive discussions with business resources to translate their goals into technical requirements
- Maintain and distribute a Data Dictionary
- Investigate and propose new technologies that increase the functionality and maturity of the Tanger data platform
About You:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or similar and five (5) plus years of relevant professional experience in delivering Data technologies as a Business Intelligence Engineer, Data Analyst, Report developer, / designer, DBA etc.
- You have two (2) plus years of experience in Microsoft data technologies such as PowerBI, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS, etc.
- You have a demonstrated understanding of how to implement data warehouse technologies.
- You have strong understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud data capabilities.
- You can easily assess business requirements and propose the best technical solution for the given challenge.
- You possess dashboard and report design capabilities.
- You have excellent communication and collaboration skills and can work effectively across internal business teams.
- You take pride in transforming raw data into business metrics and facts.
- You are capable of focusing on results and desired outcomes and how best to achieve them.
- You have a high level of initiative and strong follow through.
- You have strong analytical skills, project execution skills, and project management skills.
- You have experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
