Selected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:

A. Social Media Management
1. Assist in managing and updating our social media profiles (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
2. Write captions and prepare images for posts for our social media handles
3. Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and reach
4. Monitor social media trends and analytics to optimize content performance
5. Respond to comments and messages on social media platforms

B. Content Creation
1. Create engaging content (articles, videos, graphics, and posts) for our website and social media channels
2. Collaborate with the editorial team to generate fresh and compelling story ideas
3. Assist in the production of multimedia content, including video editing and graphic design

C. Writing and Editorial Support
1. Assist in researching, writing, and editing articles for our publication
2. Proofread and fact-check content to ensure accuracy and quality
3. Help maintain an editorial calendar and coordinate with contributors and editors

D. General Administrative Support
1. Provide administrative support to the editorial and production teams as needed
2. Assist in organizing events, interviews, and other media-related activities
3. Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall operations of the news and media company

2. can start the internship between 30th Jul’24 and 3rd Sep’24

3. are available for duration of 6 months

1. Graduate/Post Graduate in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field

2. Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills

3. Proficiency in social media platforms and understanding of social media analytics

4. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills

6. Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and digital media

7. Have knowledge of current affairs and national issues
