    System Analyst – IT application support

    As an Analyst – Application Support, you will provide technical support to teams within the Organization and external Clients as and when required to fix application and system problems, or any incident that is disrupting the application service that business users depend on. You will often respond to technical problems that occur abruptly and also require immediate solutions

    Job description

    • Technical analysis of reported incidents and its resolution
    • Response and resolution to incidents with adequate information on Category, cause and solution provided within SLA’s
    • Seek closure of incident from Customer and provide relevant analysis on bugs
    • Assist in the maintenance of applications, including 24×7, high-availability systems by responding to production issues/emergencies
    • Coordination with Internal functions on raised incidents
    • Implementation of Application patches on production for minor upgrades
    • Support on maintenance activities
    • Support for Release upgrade
    • Perform routine health checks and perform diagnostics and troubleshooting for complex issues
    • Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives for improving processes in operating systems across the organization.
    • Ensure that solution and application support documentation is maintained to the highest quality and accuracy
    • Work Remotely or from Office as per defined Covid guidelines

    You are meant for this job if

    • Qualification: Relevant Bachelor’s degree
    • A good understanding of the software development cycle
    • Hands on experience with Java, Oracle, debugging of applications.
    • Analytical and problem solving skills
    • Relevant 5-6 years experience as an application support analyst
    • Experience in securities is a plus
    • SAP PI (Process Integration) Experience
    • Knowledge of managing SharePoint Online and other Microsoft applications will be an added advatage
    • Experience working with API (application programming interface)
    • Experience with SQL Server, including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS would be a plus
    • Experience with application performance management using tools such as AppDynamics
    • Experience with identifying web page performance improvements
    • Ability to write queries and retrieve data from relational and non-relational databases.
    • Experience building dashboards with Microsoft Power BI.
    • Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn (particularly Mobile and Web Technologies)
    • A history of working independently without close supervision and demonstrated time management skills
    • Basic project management skills
    • Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight schedules
    • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial
    • Proactive, creative, flexible and tenacious, looking at problems as challenges to overcome
    • Excellent understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Able to present data and facts in a clear and concise manner.
