The SAP Product Analyst is specifically responsible for :
Design, development, and testing of :
– Extending SAP Fiori Applications
– Developing SAP UI5 Applications
– SAP oData Services
– WebDynpro for JAVA
– Abstract Portal Components
– J2EE Applications
– Theming of Applications
– iView’s Roles Portal Groups
– Design, development, and testing of additional programs that may be required to enhance the existing SAP product functionality
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Perform the analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation for the GTS PMA SAP development projects and tasks
– Provide 3rd level support on all SAP development and interface related issues
– Collaborate with the SAP Business Analysts, Implementation project teams, and end users to analyze business and SAP functional requirements and develop program specifications
– Develop, implement, maintain, and document standards and guidelines for SAP Development.
1. WORK COMPLEXITY :
– Job has high level of technical complexity. Knowledge of SAP Function Modules SAP ABAP language is required
– Job requires a high degree of creativity and judgment related to the development life cycle
– Significant interaction with Business Analysts, Security Team, and the System Administrators during the course of the job
– High degree of independent decision making required
– Ability to apply technical skills with effective verbal and written communication in English language is a must
2. ANALYSIS AND PROBLEM SOLVING :
– Requires deep, intuitive analytical and problem solving skills to address and resolve technical development issues in a limited timeframe
– Be proactive in identification and resolution of issues that may negatively impact a project or deliverables is required
– Requires combined knowledge of development techniques, application structure, understanding of business processes, personal experience, research capabilities, and interaction with other resources to identify specific problems and propose solutions
– Able to work in diverse, decentralized teams
QUALIFICATIONS :
Skills And Competencies :
– Good knowledge of web development technologies like UI5, HTML 5, jQuery, CSS, ODATA, JavaScript, ABAP, JSON and XML
– Ability to learn and adapt to new functionalitytechnology quickly; Also able to explain technical information to technical or non-technical people
– Sound Fundamentals of Computer Science and MVC Architectural concepts
– Sound Analytical and problem solving skills
– Good English communications skills and ability to handle customer expectations & escalations
– Hands on experience with tools like GIT, WebIDE
– Work in a team of consultants, developers, architects and project managers to develop UI5 applications
– Curiosity and fast learning of new technical components and concepts
– Previous experience working in an agile environment
– Experience with developing on SAP Cloud Platform
– Strong ABAP experience
– Gateway and OData service building and extension
– Ideally exposure on ABAP CDS
– Co-ordinate with Functional SAP Consultants to understand business requirements.
– Technical analysis of functional requirements, and prepare technical specifications.
– Develop and Test FIORI UI5 Apps.
– Customize and configure the Fiori Launch pad.
– Set Up Roles, Create Users , Creating Catalogue and Groups for Launchpad
– Connection of SAP Workflow to UI5 Application.
