Description:
Systems Administrator/DevOps Engineer Seeking a DevOps/SysAdm with 4+ years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will enjoy being a jack of all trades (DevOps, System Admin, Database Administration, Networking) with proven success supporting and managing open-source and COTS solutions within secure development environments. Role Responsibilities • Work on ways to automate and improve development and release processes • Collaboratively build containerization solutions • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve server and client issues by analyzing logs from all digital infrastructure components in various environments • Assist in testing code written by others and analyzing results • Collaborate with development team to harden, streamline, document, and establish software release processes • Follows established processes and works as intended • Will be part of the project planning and execution Successful Candidates will have: • Strong background in Linux and Windows administration (clustering, load balancing, backup etc.) • Ability to evaluate system and application logs, error messages, stack traces to quickly identify and solve environment and pipeline problems • Proficiency in Oracle, SQL, NoSQL • Experience developing multiple DevOps Pipelines using Gitlab • Experience automating Docker image builds • Experience implementing ETL solutions across various SQL / NoSQL databases • Experience in Deploying Kubernetes cluster • Experience with security, authorization, and authentication solutions Minimum Qualifications You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Bachelors with 4+ years or Masters with 2+years • Experience with Linux Systems Administration • 4+ years of hands-on experience with architecture or implementation and operation of a Linux-based compute environment (Redhat, Ubuntu, etc.) • In-depth knowledge of the Linux OS, network, and storage concepts • Demonstrated experience in trouble shooting application issues across the SW stack • Expertise in at least one scripting language like Shell, Bash, Python • Experience configuring and/or utilizing monitoring/logging solution • Familiar with security practices and platforms (e.g. encryption and/or certificates and/or key management and/or oAuth, LDAP)
