JOB PURPOSE
The Lead Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and support of information delivery systems. They will serve as lead for a team of analysts in gathering business requirements & data needs, identifying & developing the ideal BI solution, and maintaining effective & thorough documentation & related data governance artifacts.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leads the design and maintenance of business intelligence applications, including visualization & transactional reporting from targeted enterprise applications.
- Develops and maintains strong professional relationships within the department and cross functionally.
- Regularly engages with customers to understand their needs and deliver the best product possible.
- Ensures that the use of business intelligence applications enhances business decision making capabilities.
- Prioritizes requests & balances workload across team.
- Completes BI development tasks directly as necessary.
- Ensures excellence and quality in delivered product & related documentation.

- Advanced SQL and experience writing complex queries

- Experience writing ETLs using a GUI-based tool preferred
- Current tech stack: Matillion, Snowflake, Tableau, SSRS
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Experience with Epic data & reporting tools, including RWB & Clarity. EpicCare Ambulatory preferred not required
- Experience with project management & related tools (e.g., Jira) preferred not required
- Experience with report building software (e.g., SSRS, Crystal Reports) preferred not required
