Description:
TEKsystems is looking for a Jr. – Mid Level Data Engineer for a fully remote 6 month contract to hire role for our client in the Theme Park/Media & Entertainment industry. This is a newer team in nature focused on enhancing the consumer experience. This person will be working hand in hand with the Director in a more start up environment. They will be one of the sole data engineer supporting engineering teams who work on mobile, web and other applications that are more cutting edge for specific to the e-commerce component.
This person must be intellectually curious and have a passion for technology, as the culture of this organization is for self starters and solution oriented individuals.
Primarily, the role will be all data engineering work – like, setting up pipelines of data from various sources like SQL Server, Google Analytics, or other external tools, and into a central repository which right now is PowerBI. This person should have experience with PowerBI, or a similar tool like Tableau or Excel.
Skills Required:
Data Analysis, SQL, Visualization with either Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or any similar tool
