Job Description:
Qualifications Required:
- Minimum 3+ years of Power Apps related experience
- Experience developing Microsoft PowerApps including canvas, model-driven, and portal applications driven from both inherent and disparate data sources
- Experience developing complex reports in Power BI and SQL Server Reporting Services utilizing data from multiple sources including SharePoint, SQL Server and other relational databases, flat files, API/internet sources
- Strong understanding of, or hands-on experience with, relational databases, specifically Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL, including database management and administration, as well as data integration between various database types
- Proficiency in creating, configuring, and maintaining custom connectors for use with PowerApps and Power Automate services
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Dataverse
- Familiarity with integration between the Power Platform services such as embedding Power BI Reports within PowerApps solutions, triggering Power Automate flows from Power Apps solutions or Power BI dashboards, and embedding Power Apps visuals within Power BI reports
- Understanding of entire development process, including design, specification, documentation, and quality assurance
- Highly analytical and creative, with the ability to simplify complex design/functionality concepts to convey ideas to a non-technical audience in order to provide development solutions, support, and training to internal and external users in the use of Power Platform components
Qualifications Preferred (not required):
- Bachelor’s degree (in a related field) or equivalent experience
- SQL Certification
- Azure DevOps training or certification
- Power Platform certification
- You will be working with the following technologies on a daily basis:
- Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI)
- Microsoft SQL Server / Azure SQL
- SharePoint and other Microsoft Office 365 Applications
Typical Work:
- As a Power Platform Developer, you will create solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, PowerBI), Microsoft Office 365 Applications (e.g. SharePoint, Excel, Access) utilizing database and cloud platforms as required (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Dynamics 365, Azure SQL, etc.) to provide applications and automation, as well as improve and streamline data capture, analysis and reporting capabilities.
- You will be expected to work both with autonomy and as part of a team to help solution automation and productivity opportunities within the organization.
- You will work with internal and external stakeholders to understand and analyze requirements.
- You will guide the solution outcome based on your knowledge and experience to meet the given requirements.
- And you will coach and train end users on the solutions the team provides.
