The Opportunity
This position will provide insights and consulting with a background in client reporting and analytics. It will draw upon a solid foundation of healthcare data, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to effectively consult with the reporting and analytics team to support sales and account management. Critical to this role is the ability to collaborate with Sales and Account Management to act as a liaison between Teladoc clients to the reporting and analytics team to demonstrate our value story to grow client relationships and revenue.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with individual Client Service members and with leadership to present, explain, and interpret our product savings, methodologies, and ROI results to clients.
- Consult with Client Service teams to create strategic executive summary reporting and quarterly and annual Business Reviews.
- Acting internal expert on telehealth savings methodologies, constraints, and flexibility across the full suite of products that our client teams can call on when appropriate.
- Create product value story visuals for prospective utilization and savings opportunities.
- Consult on ad hoc analyses for clients modeling white space product to show additional value and upsell products to drive revenue.
- Assess and solicit client feedback regarding the data value story and provide recommendations for enhancements to retain business, cross-sell new products
- Work with our Client Service teams behind the scenes on cross-sell deal strategy, Deal Desk preparation and ROI presentations.
- Maintain the prospective opportunity tool for prospective clients as well as current clients to help with strategic conversations around utilization or upselling.
- Solution adhoc reporting options where value metric automation is needed.
- Consult on the value related to new and existing reporting requirements requested and engage teams to create value metrics within these reports.
Candidate Profile
- Deep understanding of healthcare claims data, including reporting, analytics, SQL, data modeling, data management, file management, reference data management, etc.
- Able to identify multiple approaches to problem solving and recommend the best-case solution.
- Proven ability to work directly with users and management to gather requirements, provide status updates, and build good relationships and rapport.
- Must be proactive, innovative, and creative in meeting client/customer needs. Always keeping a “Can do!” attitude.
- Ability and willingness to work in a team environment and adopt a culture of ownership and initiative and promote such within the team.
- Working knowledge of best practices for automating and monitoring recurring processes.
- Adept at translating and presenting data requirements into an understandable document. Ability to write and speak clearly, easily communicating complex ideas.
- 5+ years’ experience consulting with sales/client management.
- 3+ years as a Data Analyst
- Knowledge of current reporting and analytics technologies.
- Preferred experience with Tableau and Cognos.
- Experienced leader presenting solutions to senior level executives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
The base salary range for this position is $110,000-130,000. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for performance bonus, RSU’s, and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: Teladoc Health Benefits 2022 . Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
