The focus of the role
The Functional Data Analyst need to organize recurring requirement understanding meetings with business users/ PO/BA to understand the current data quality issues in the source systems and high level requirements.

As a Data Engineer Analyst, you thrive on collaborating with your team and providing valuable input to support stakeholders and team members to deliver technical analysis and research that enables successful business initiative/mission design and delivery, and ongoing technical capability operational performance.
Key Responsibilities
This is how you will bring the purpose of your role to life:
- Provide input into technical impact and gap analysis, design and research, working as part of a technical capability team in one or more missions to enable mission design and delivery, and as part of capacity planning and lifecycle management activities.
- Support the team and the diverse stakeholders (product owners, technical product owners, solution designers and solution owners, as well as component teamsโ DevOps engineers, testers, and technical writers) to analyse business needs, develop and document both functional and non-functional specifications/stories, model workflows, model data, clarify business rules and acceptance criteria to enable capability teams to successfully deliver value and mission epics.
- Contribute to solution design aligning to Data Platform governance framework and approved standard patterns
- Develop, test and deploy resilient and robust solutions in a timely, high quality and cost-effective way that meet business needs
- Deliver resilient and robust operational solutions on B2B Datahub that aligns to Data Platform governance framework and approved standard patterns
- Support the team and Technical Product Owner to apply analytical thinking during iterative analysis, development and testing activities, to provide input and anticipate and resolve issues in the identification, reporting and closing of gaps in acceptance and feasibility.
- Contribute to effort estimation, delivery planning and ensure timesheets are completed accurately and on time
- Support the team to define and measure delivery and operational performance metrics and provide input to the wider team for capability performance, growth and learning.
- Use your communication skills to contribute to gain buy-in and input from stakeholders and teams, into continuous improvement and ways of working.
- Experience working in an agile team / team group
About you
To be successful in the role, you’ll bring skills and experience in:
Essential
- 4+ years of relevant Business Analyst experience
- BigData technology stack
- Hadoop (Prefer Cloudera), Kafka, Spark Streaming, Spark, ADLS, Hive, HDFS, Spark SQL, Parquet, Nifi, Spark(Scala) or PySpark(Python), Oozie Workflow, Postgres or similar SQL databases

- Strong Skills in Cloud โ AWS, Azure

- Strong skills with GIT, CI/CD โ Bamboo, Bitbucket and Azure DevOps, docker basics, ansible and Gradle
- Strong skills in relational and dimensional modelling,Data warehouse modelling
- Proficient in the ETL (Extraction, Transformation, Loading) process
