What to Expect You will be part of a team of developers and deep learning experts working to design, optimize, quantize, and deploy neural networks that advance the state of the art in perception for autonomous driving. What You’ll Do Quantize, distill, prune, and perform architecture search on our core in-vehicle neural networks to reduce inference latency and minimize accuracy loss on our int8 NN accelerator chip.
- Develop and maintain tools to serialize, visualize, quantize, optimize, and estimate the inference latency of neural networks.
- Participate in the complete neural network life cycle: design a new neural architecture, optimize it for inference on our NN accelerator, perform quantization aware training, deploy it to a development build, work with peer engineering teams to integrate it into our planning and controls stack, and validate its safety with our QA team.
- Stay abreast of advances in machine learning, particularly in the areas of quantization, distillation, pruning, latency-efficient neural architectures, and architecture search. What You’ll Bring Strong experience with Python, C++, and software engineering best practices.
- Experience quantizing and optimizing the inference latency of neural networks.
- Experience with PyTorch, or another major deep learning framework such as TensorFlow.
- Experience with data manipulation tools including jupyter notebooks, numpy, scipy, matplotlib, scikit-learn, Python and Bash scripting, Linux environment.

Expected Compensation
$116,000 – $360,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
