Job Title: Database Engineer Intern
Duration: 3 Months

Job Summary: We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented Database Engineer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of our database systems. You’ll collaborate with senior engineers and participate in the lifecycle of database environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design, development, and implementation of database systems.
- Write optimized SQL queries for integration with other applications.
- Help maintain data security and integrity.
- Participate in troubleshooting and correcting database issues.
- Contribute to the improvement of database design and layout.
- Document database schemes and architectures.
- Work with team members on data analysis and report generation.
Qualification:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
- Proficiency in database management systems (DBMS), Relational Database Management System (RDBMS), SQL, and data structures.
- Proficiency in programming language commonly used for database engineer (e.g. Java, Node.js, python).
- Familiarity with database management systems, especially MySQL, MongoDB or Oracle.
- Ability to design and implement database schemas and models that efficiently store and retrieve data.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
