As one of America’s fastest growing full-service transportation companies, we have created a brand-new position we are attempting to fill. Reporting directly to the President of the company, this position will have several hats to wear. The Administrative Data Analyst will track, measure and produce data to track sales activity, profitability, planning, budgeting, and other pertinent data to assist us in our sales and marketing efforts. This position will also act as an executive assistant to the President to assist with special projects and day to day operational questions or issues that may arise. Some of the other responsibilities for the position are:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with annualized planning of sales budgets, expectation and goals
- Compile and analyze data to assist in forecasting sales, understanding sale trends, market share analysis and ongoing reporting
- Customer-facing sales tools to help drive transparency, accountability and a deeper business relationship with our customers
- Review past sales data to determine trends in the industry and direction and creation of a plan for future growth opportunities
- Create and maintain reports for the sales/marketing team
- Generate reports from a single or multiple systems
- Assist in tracking of Presidents calendar, planning and travel
- Organize and maintain calendars and making appointments
- Make sound choices in ambiguous situation, solves issues with reason and calm
- Support other executives in the company
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associates degree in computer science, statistics or analytics, Bachelors preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office and products
- 1-3 years of data analyst experience required
- Strong organizational skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Must have attention to detail and accuracy
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key contacts of various levels within and outside the company
- Maintain confidentiality and ability to handle extremely sensitive information
