Our team is currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst for a client in the Oil and Gas industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Prepare monthly analysis, Focus on P&L (Sales, Volumes, Cost of Sales, Operating Income) as well as dashboards to facilitate detailed analysis in close collaboration with the Ops Controller.
- Lead frequent financial reviews with key business stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement and create action plans as well as complex analysis.
- Ensure the quality of data and reliability of information streams.
- Interface with the Product Management team to monitor profitability of products.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the monitoring and controlling tools used in the team.
- Prepare the Target and Reforecast process according to the timeframe in close collaboration with varying departments.
- Coordinate with the Affiliates on Target and Reforecast Assumptions.
- Coordinate the SAP transition for the Ops control team, with a focus on financial reporting and analysis.
- Lead for the Ops control complex projects as the connection between SAP and Power BI.
- Collaborate with various departments to define and transform financial analysis needs into solutions with a focus on delivering productivity and efficiency improvements.
- Partner with Product Investments team to develop financial models.
- Lead the efficiency program to ensure organizational focus as well as coordinating the reporting with company Group and Americas Hub.
- Carry out ad hoc complex studies if and when required.
- Support Operations Controller with ad hoc reporting.
QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS):
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or engineering OR
- Master’s degree in business
Experience and Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in business analyst or related field.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
- Proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Slides.
- Strong analytical skills and rigorous.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management/organization.
- Transverse management skills.
- Autonomous and able to work with cross functional teams.
- Time management abilities.
