Major Duties/Responsibilities:
The Digital Content Operations Analyst is responsible for managing visual content in the Digital Asset Management system (Hershey Asset Studio – HAS) and serves as the overall technical lead for the business. HAS is a core capability and crucial to the organization’s overall content strategy and omnichannel marketing success. The Digital Content Operations Analyst will be focused on content auditing and governance, image and asset bundling, and capability and process enhancements. This includes integrations, developing processes, gathering requirements, and defining enhancements. This role will interface with various stakeholders, including IS, the copy team, sales teams, and the broader content and syndication teams to ensure Hershey’s content management capabilities continue to evolve in accordance with changing omnichannel and customer needs.

Summary of major duties:
Digital Content Operations

  • Bundling/unbundling images and publishing via HAS Author
  • Image auditing and governance, across file naming structure, image size, and dimensions
  • Manage and maintain the site to ensure workflows are accurate
  • Work cross-functionally with Packaging, Deployment Team, and Transparency Team to deliver digital assets
  • Work with IS to resolve defects, ticket management
  • Oversee UAT & QA Testing across HAS for pre/post deployment by creating test cases and coordinating with other business users
  • Support of the HAS inbox requests as needed

HAS System Requirements

  • Develop and optimize data management best practices and lead governance efforts across functional and technical teams
  • Serve as the single POC/SME for system-related questions and technical issues
  • Ensure system documentation is current
  • Manage Adobe Analytics to summarize and condense metrics. Communicate with librarian counterpart the metrics/results so that action can be taken on metadata and taxonomy.

Skills/ Competencies/ Qualifications:

  • Experience with visual content systems, preferably Adobe DAM
  • Knowledge of asset tagging, taxonomy standards, and metadata improvements
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong initiative with a drive to succeed
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive problem-solver who can identify and address root cause
  • Strategic thinking and strong analytical skills to extract business value
  • Organized, detail oriented, and results focused
  • Adaptable to change and self-motivated with an enthusiasm for learning
  • High degree of collaboration & teamwork across multiple functions

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
Education: BA Degree from an accredited university in business, digital marketing, or a related field is preferred or equivalent experience
Experience:

  • 2+ years of work experience in a data management capacity, preferably in CPG
  • Technical acumen with an ability to understand IS solutions and tradeoffs, and communicate technology concepts to business users
