Our Financial Analyst opportunity exists within the Robotic Digital Solutions (RDS) business unit of Hillman – with offices in Boulder, CO and Tempe, AZ. The RDS business unit focused exclusively on self-service and automated consumer solutions that include home, office, and auto key duplicating kiosks, pet tag engraving kiosks, knife sharpening machines, and RFID fob duplicating devices. RDS currently has 30,000 kiosks across North America and has partnerships with 26,000 retailers. Our business combines robotics, electronics, hardware, and the latest software engineering and machine learning to create the highest-quality products with the lowest onsite maintenance in the industry. Job Summary
A highly visible and key member of the FP&A team focused on the development of the company’s annual operating plan, forecasting, and financial analysis functions. Performs a variety of finance functions to support the maintenance of accurate financial records. Great opportunity for someone looking to grow career and progress into higher level financial roles.
Essential Job Functions
1. Lead the development of the company’s annual operating budget for supported businesses. Monitors budget performance compared to plan and alerts managers to potential issues. Prepares quarterly forecasts.
2. Assists with the preparation of monthly performance metrics and executive reporting packages.
3. Drive decisions by providing analytical support through forecasting, performance metrics, and ad hoc analyses.
4. Improve existing finance processes to accelerate analysis for the proactive identification of business risks and opportunities
5. Active member on cross-functional teams by providing the analytical support necessary to add value to the business.
6. Identifies process improvement and cost-saving opportunities and recommends appropriate action steps to realize savings.
7. Works with Information Technology staff to establish corporate performance reporting mechanisms to track and report key financial metrics.
8. Financial modeling and ROI analysis
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, or equivalent in education and work experience.
- 0-3 years accounting or finance required related experience, preferred in a distribution environment
Competencies – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Above average computer skills, primarily Excel. Proficient in Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of Oracle E1 JDE helpful
- Knowledge of Power BI and SQL is desirable
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven track record of challenging the status quo and driving business performance through financial analytics
Compensation: $60k to $70k with a full comprehensive benefits package that includes performance bonuses, medical/dental/vision/insurance, matching 401k, employee stock purchase plan, unlimited vacation, and education and development opportunities.
