About the role
We are looking for a Data Analyst to analyze large amounts of raw information to find patterns that will help our business and leadership teams take data centric decisions. We will rely on you to build data products to extract valuable business insights. In this role, you should be highly analytical with a knack for analysis, maths and statistics. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. We also want to see a passion for machine-learning and research.
Your goal is to collect data and compile their findings into reports that can help our company to make informed decisions.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Gather customer research insight, competitive environment analysis, industry trends to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
- Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.
- Design, prototype and build insightful business dashboards and the backend data processing and reporting views to handle data sets.
- Prepare weekly and monthly MIS reports for the management.
- Use and evolve our data processing, BI/reporting, and analytical frameworks.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience 1-2 as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of advanced analytics concepts is desirable.
- Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings.
- Knowledge of R, PYTHON SQL; familiarity with, Java is an asset.
- Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI,Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop).
- Strong statistical skills.
- Problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- BSc/MCA Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or another quantitative field is preferred.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics/Amplitude is a bonus.
- Advanced English knowledge (B1 or above).
