Marmon is now looking for a Manager of Supply Chain Analytics with a service-minded work ethic to directly support the leverage spend activities within our Continuous Improvement team. The individual in this newly created role will be responsible for developing/organizing/monitoring analytics, organizing leverage spend contracts and the SpendHQ system, managing select supplier relationships, and leading supply chain projects. Reporting directly to Marmon’s Continuous Improvement Officer, the Manager of Supply Chain Analytics will be highly visible and essential role within the organization.
What you’ll do :
Analytics and Organization
- Develop tools to enhance Marmon supply chain analytics
- Manage and develop our use of SpendHQ (contract administration, spend compliance with leverage programs, training, identifying opportunities)
- Build reports, KPIs and dashboards for performance reports and strategy development
- Manage contracts within Marmon’s MPact system
- Develop and issue monthly benefit reports
- Collaborate with internal depts. to create reporting and data tracking processes and organization for shared files/data
Relationship development and management
- Manage purchase categories including computer supplies (relationship with CDW), market intelligence information (RTi, HIS, etc), MidAmerica Energy, and other suppliers
- Work with Omnia to support Marmon businesses
- Support, upgrade, and monitor the Leverage Spend website to increase Marmon company participation in programs
Other
- Schedule and coordinate corporate sponsored trainings
- Maintain continuous improvement processes for systems, tools, reporting, etc.
- Craft best practice stories for the website and CI newsletter
What you’ll bring to the role :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field of study
- 5+ years of supply chain and/or analytics experience
- Experience with Business Intelligence (Power BI) and analytical tools
- Strong analytical reasoning skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects
- Ability to extract meaningful information from data and suggest action for improvement based on data insights
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on the Company’s success
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Superb time-management skills
