Job Location: Grand Rapids, MI

Job Summary:  

The IT Analyst is an integral part of the IT team working on various projects to continually move both TPG and customers forward with their IT needs. The Analyst will work on various projects as well as work on items of a routine nature.

 

Job Duties (may include but are not limited to):

  • Enter incidents for IT work and monitor the IT inbox
  • Perform customer database checkups
  • Monitor & manage IT infrastructure, work with vendors
  • Deploy updates to Picas software
  • Assist with Database Administration as needed
  • Research and implement artificial intelligence and machine learning strategies
  • Complete billable IT work for customers as appropriate
  • Help integrate with 3rd party applications
  • Communicate with customer IT departments
  • Assist with backing up and securing company/customer data
  • Research on new IT solutions to be used to solve system inefficiencies
  • Perform server maintenance and updates
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to customers and company staff
  • Create and maintain internal and customer-facing documentation
  • Travel to customer sites to assist with IT needs and install new hardware & software
  • Other projects/duties as assigned

 

Job Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Security, Networking, or related IT fields, plus 2 to 3 years of experience in related field
  • The ability to think critically and execute thoroughly
  • The ability to multi-task and manage many details and moving parts
  • A strong ability to focus on detail and quality
  • A strong affinity to work on teams with collaboration and problem-solving at the center, along with some fun.
  • Standard proficiency in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Desire and ability to obtain advanced networking skills and certifications as appropriate.

·       Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
